May Ends

Well, May ended, and while my university's DIP is still in progress, getting feedback from the Professor was none-too-exciting. As I have expected, I was not in the top 8 or 10 people in the rank of technical knowledge - I am more of a theory guy - but after asking the Professor question after question, it appeared that he was not too objective in his assessment of how much one contributed.

Filled with peppery language and wishy-washy words, his (deluded) conclusion was that "my group did not have focus". Which was rubbish, of course, because we clearly know what we have being doing, much less tracking, on what had been accomplished and what needed work.

Regardless, thanks to the Doc's lousy planning, he had to split one sub-group and reduce 4 sub-groups of 20 to 2 sub-groups of 20, in a 7/7/6 formation.

Stupid. Because that means that every individual would have to change their specialization, and not everyone can adapt to the newer field of work which required tedious research; this is what we call "reinventing the wheel".

Goes to show that not even the best professors know their work well... -__-

June Begins

The DIP has yet to end, as it is now approaching the last week which is on Wednesday (officially) or on Thursday (which is exhibition day).

My due tasks: a 20-page report, and an oral presentation to be filled with a Q&A sheeznit by the Doc and his Evil Company of Lab Tech Cultists (pardon me, I am just releasing all that is within me now, LOL).

And no holidays for me! I still have an extra semester called Special Semester 2 in which I am required to clear one more subject as an Elective - EE8089: Electricity in Modern Society.

Boring.

Good thing, I have declared the simpler grading option (known as "Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory" or S/U-ing) for this course. It's meant to fulfill graduation requirements... No other courses for me to choose, meh...
